Million Fathers March (aka, “Dads Take Their Child to School Day”)

Be the hero your children need you to be! Join us at the Million Fathers March (MFM) and make a statement that fatherhood matters!   #SBFatherhood    #MFM2023

Please join San Bernardino Fatherhood, Howard Inghram Elementary School, San Bernardino City Unified School District and other schools and organizations across the nation for the MFM on September 15th, 2023, for “Dads Take Your Child to School Day”.

The schools are encouraged to engage in activities that support this year’s theme, “Power of Presence.”  The MFM is an opportunity for dads, uncles, grandfathers, coaches, mentors, clergy, men’s groups and organizations to show their commitment to the educational lives of their children throughout the school year by escorting their children to school on this day. #PowerofPresence

“The Power of Presence: Fathers Engaged in Education”, underscores the profound impact of fathers actively participating in their children’s academic life. This involvement isn’t just beneficial for the children; it reiterates the essence of community, love, and shared growth.

By design, MFM is a community-driven event and is not restricted to fathers only. Grandfathers, foster fathers, stepfathers, uncles, cousins, big brothers, significant male caregivers, family friends, and other male role models are all encouraged to participate.

Additionally, representatives from such entities as public and private schools, community-based organizations, government agencies, local businesses and faith institutions along with elected officials are also asked to join in and support Million Fathers March.
