It’s an opportunity to highlight positive male role models\, raise awareness of men’s challenges\, and promote the importance of men’s health and wellness. \nThis year’s theme is “Celebrate Men and Boys.” IMD encourages men to teach the young men in their lives the values\, character\, and responsibilities of being a man. As Mahatma Gandhi once said\, “We must become the change we seek.” This free event welcomes men and boys of all ages\, races\, and backgrounds from across our community. \nOur program will feature knowledgeable and inspiring speakers covering the following areas: \n\n\nThe History of International Men’s Day \n\n\n\n\nPublic Recognition of Men in Our Communities (First Responders\, Military/Veterans\, Public Officials\, Pastors/Clergy\, etc.) \n\n\nRecognizing the Challenges Men Face \n\n\n\n\nPromoting Men’s Health and Wellness in Four Key Areas: \n\n\n\n\n\n• Mental Health and Wellness\n• Physical Health and Wellness\n• Social Health and Wellness\n• Spiritual Health\, Wellness\, and Purpose\n\n\n\n5.
