8th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance

San Bernardino Fatherhood is excited to invite you to our 8th Annual Daddy Daughter Dance, which will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the Inland Career Education Center; located at 1200 N. E Street, San Bernardino, CA 92405.

Our Daddy Daughter Dance targets fathers/father-figures and their daughters/daughter-figures from the ages of 5 yrs and older.  The purpose for hosting this amazing event is to:

1. Raise awareness to the importance of the positive relationship between fathers and/or father-figures and their daughters or daughter-figures.
2. Provide a supportive environment for connecting and strengthening the bond between fathers and/or father-figures and their daughters or daughter-figures.

There is overwhelming research that shows, in most cases, when fathers are positively involved, daughters are often:

• More self-confident and self-reliant.
• More successful in school and in their careers.
• More individualized, self-directed, self-sufficient and self-regulated.
• Have better communication and problems solving skills.
• Less likely to develop depression, anxiety and eating disorders.
• Less likely to engage in risky sexual behaviors.
• More able to trust, enjoy and relate well to other male figures in their life.

This year’s Daddy Daughter Dance theme is “Fathers Blessing Daughters”. Our presenters will inform fathers and father-figures the importance of blessing their daughters with “words of affirmations”, “quality time”, “physical touch”, “acts of service”, and “receiving gifts”.

Then will be a formal (voluntary) ceremony with fathers/father-figures committing to bless their daughters/daughter-figures and daughters/daughter-figures committing to honor their fathers.

Other activities will include food, music, dance, opportunity drawings, photo booths, and fun for all!
