Walter Beasley is a top jazz billboard saxophonist, performer and recording artist, who released his first album in 1987. He has been one of the top ten best-selling saxophonists in the world since 1998. A true fan of R&B and funk and trained in classical and jazz saxophone, Walter’s style of music falls between contemporary R&B and contemporary jazz, a blend of music which has been called “smooth jazz”. Our 3rd Annual Walter Beasley Jazz/R&B Concert: “A Tribute to Fathers” will include a moment to highlight and recognize fathers, past and present, that have positively impacted the lives of children, families and communities.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 through the Walter Beasley Jazz/R&B Concert to support our fatherhood intervention services and ongoing programs, such as: “24:7 Dad Fathering”, “Boot Camp for New Dads”, “Moms as Gateway”, and “Understanding Dad for Moms” programs. All proceeds and sponsorships from this event will directly contribute to our work in equipping and empowering fathers and strengthening families across San Bernardino County.
